All About Colors!

For our art theme this week, we focused on all types of colors- primary, secondary, cool, warm, etc. We read books like Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See? by Eric Carle and Little Yellow and Little Blue by Leo Lionni. We listened and sang songs including The Color Song. We also watched a claymation film for Little Yellow and Little Blue. Lastly we played color memory, toss the color beanbag, completed worksheets, painted and looked through a colorful kaleidoscope and color films. All students participated in this hands-on, exciting learning unit on colors! They had a such a great time!
